Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men. (Acts 17:11-12)
Christian Education is part of discipleship. Our regular discipleship begins with God’s Word being read and proclaimed in our weekend services. It is then deepened in our fellowship after the services and in our home cells. In addition, we offer various courses and seminars. Our staple course takes us through the Bible and is based on the materials provided by Moore College, Sydney (https://ptc.moore.edu.au/). We are offering 2-3 courses of 10 Thursday evenings each year. Optional exams can lead members to a Certificate in Biblical Studies.
We also offer short seminars on various topics, in-house or in collaboration with other parishes, Saint Peter’s Hall (https://sph.org.sg/), and external organizations.
For more information, please get in touch with any member of the pastoral team or the church office.
It is my sincere prayer that the Holy Spirit creates in us a desire to grow deeper in our knowledge and love of God and his Son Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

It describes the state of Roman Catholic teaching and practices at the time that led to the reformation and explains the teachings of the reformers led by Martin Luther. It also covers the reformation in England that led to the formation of our Anglican Church, the international Protestant movement, and the Roman Catholic response to the reformation.
This study of Mark takes a systematic approach to reading through the Gospel of Mark, in the process answering the two central questions that Mark poses to his readers: ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘What did Jesus come to do?’. Attention is paid to locating the identity and work of Jesus in the context of the Old Testament expectations of the Messiah and showing how Jesus fulfils those expectations.
Find out how the great themes of the Bible fit together into one story that spans both the Old and New Testaments! At the centre of the story is God’s Son, Jesus Christ. This course shows how God’s plan to redeem his people, which begins with promises to Abraham and continues through the fortunes of the nation of Israel, reaches its climax at the cross.September – November 2021 – Introduction to the Bible
