Welcome to our website!

St Hilda’s Church has been a landmark in Katong for the last 76 years. Many of our members live in and around Katong and quite a number are former students of St Hilda’s School when it was started in an old bungalow in the same location 76 years ago. Of course, with time and progress, St Hilda’s School has now moved to Tampines where there is now St Hilda’s Primary and St Hilda’s Secondary Schools. The Church, started around the same time as the School, has remained in the same location and we thank God for the opportunity for witness around Katong and beyond.

We welcome all to worship with us at our Services in St Hilda’s Church. We have three English Services and two Chinese Services. We have a ministry for children from infants to Primary school children during the Services. On Sunday afternoon, we have a children’s programme called Victory Kids where children come to have fun listening to stories, singing and playing games.

As a worshipping community, we are a family – oriented church that believe in God’s love for all and we believe that all can find peace and joy in God’s Son, Jesus Christ. We also believe that we have been called to become a Beacon of Faith, Hope and Love in our Community. Hence we also have a community service arm that reaches out to the elderly and the poor in Tanjung Rhu and Old Airport. On weekdays, St Hilda’s Kindergarten functions in the church as well as in a separate location also along Ceylon Road.
